Dear Friends and Family,

It’s that time of year again to share with you our adventures in this journey we call life. 2011 has been another year of magic and wonder…

Lucifer, almost 7, is quite a talker. Um, not really, but he has become quite proficient in ABL– American Bite Language. Also, despite only being in the sort-of-first-grade, he is already able to cursive-write his name in strawberry yogurt. He recently tested into the TAG (Troublesome and Goofy) Program, as well. We couldn’t be more proud of our little guy!

Mephisto, now 9, is growing in leaps and bounds. The l’il bruiser doesn’t know his own strength sometimes, and recently managed to kick Mommy’s nose out of joint. Twice. We’re so pleased that all that gross-motor work with his physical therapist has finally paid off! He also qualified for the school Stim Team this year, and has already earned badges in road trip trivia and dvd arrangement.

Milfie had a very busy year. In between her work as a Facebook attaché and sometime-multilevel marketer of Stinksy® candles, she ferries her children to their various therapy appointments in between runs to Target and Whole Foods (for small-batch, artisan, non-GMO, HFCS-free ketchup), and then she goes running for the shelter of her mother’s little helper…

Vance was immersed in the whole wind-him-up-and-kick-him-out-the-door-to-work routine, and generally just trying to avoid having a midlife crisis.

We were also able to squeeze in a little traveling this year: the ER, the OR, the DAN! conference in beautiful Waco, Texas, Horse Boy Camp, traffic court, the state capitol for insurance reform hearings (twice) and the zoo (116 times).

And while the cat hit the road months ago, Nietzsche, our German shepherd, diligently continues his studies in Animal-Assisted Therapy.

Other than that, it was a very quiet year. So from our household to yours, all the Blessings of the Season and may your New Year be prosperous.
